At The #DotAcademy, we delved deep to understand what drives their online purchasing decisions. With 218 participants (84 males and 134 females), averaging 23.3 years old, let's discover the key insights:
💸 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: When it comes to buying decisions, 94.5% of participants considered Price and Discounts as crucial factors. Saving money is always a win!
🔍 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Move over influencers! While only a mere 15.9% admitted to being swayed by influencers, 89.9% of participants relied on Product Reviews and Evaluations. Surprisingly, out of the influencer-inclined group, 31 were women. So, it's safe to say that 91% of those who believed in influencer power were women.
📷 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹: Product Descriptions and Images influenced 46.5% of participants. A picture is worth a thousand words, right?
⚡ 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆: Same-day Delivery emerged as a significant criterion for 35% of participants. Time is of the essence!
🌍 𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀: Environmental Sustainability Practices made an impact on 17.8% of shoppers' preferences. It's heartwarming to see GenZ caring about our planet.

Now, let's explore the e-commerce platforms GenZ has been heading to in the past 30 days:
🛒 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀: Trendyol stole the show with a staggering 86% of participants choosing the platform, closely followed by Amazon (35.6%) and Hepsiburada (35.1%). These platforms know how to cater to GenZ's needs!
👨👩👦 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: While 53% of Amazon shoppers identified as men, Trendyol Group had a gender split of 33%. Hepsiburada (NASDAQ: HEPS), on the other hand, attracted an equal number of men and women, with both genders accounting for 50% of participants.
🚀 𝗤-𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀: Getir took the lead in the world of quick-commerce with 41% of participants, followed by Yemeksepeti Market (26.4%) and Migros Ticaret A.Ş.(24.7%). Convenience at your doorstep!
